About
the acronym SEME:
The
organizers and leadership council of SEME want attendees to utilize this
experience to visualize themselves as a successful player in the sport and event
industries. In order to attain such a goal you must first know where you want to go.

is the deadline for on-line registration?
April
10, 2008. After that date you can register at the conference..
What
does my registration cost include?
You
may attend as many sessions as you wish during the two-day event. Your registration
also includes two light breakfasts, two lunches, and the receptions listed in the conference program. Attendees receive a Certificate of
Attendance, Conference Packet and Notebook, list of sports industry attendees,
fellow attendees, jobs and internships available.
How
do I get my registration badge?
Your
badge, a conference program and a registration bag will be awaiting your
arrival at the SEME registration desk.

When
does the conference start and when does it end?
Programming begins on Saturday, April 12 starting at 8:15 a.m.
and concludes on Sunday afternoon, April 13 at 4:00 p.m.
What
is the dress code for the conference?
Business
casual/Professional is the dress code. The conference is being held in a
windy city climate. Be sure to pack a light jacket since evenings are
frequently cool.
What
about getting around the city?
The
conference will be held in Evanston, a suburb of Chicago located 10 miles
north of the downtown area. Evanston and Chicago boast several modes of transportation
available to its many visitors. Transportation options range from car and van rental
to railways and taxis to public buses.
What
airport should I fly into?
Chicago
O'Hare and Chicago Midway are the two closest airports.

What
happens if I need to cancel my conference registration and want to get a
refund?
All
refund requests must be received in writing by March 10, 2008 (the refund
deadline). Refunds will be issued within 60 days after the conference. Send

Can
I have a list of attendees?
Everyone
will receive an attendee list at the conference in the conference packet.
Sponsors and Career Workshop hosts will receive an attendee list in advance.
